Prep Enrolment and our pre-Prep transition program
If you have any questions about Prep enrolment please contact our administration team admin@indooroopillyss.eq.edu.au
We are still accepting enrolment applications. Prep 2026 is for children born between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021. If your family resides within our catchment area or there is an older sibling who will still be attending ISS in 2026 you are welcome to download our Enrolment Pack. The pack contains the necessary forms to complete and a checklist of required documents. Please refer to the Enrolments tab of our website for comprehensive details.
Applications can be submitted via email to admin@indooroopillyss.eq.edu.au or delivered in person to our administration office, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm, during school terms.
Enrolment interviews are scheduled in the first 4 weeks of Term 3. Interviews can also be arranged for children enrolling later in the year.
FAQ- What to expect at a Prep enrolment interview
We meet all our prospective families at an enrolment interview and for families new to ISS this is the first face-to-face meeting. We take the opportunity to explain what Prep is like at ISS and how the school operates, finalise paperwork, take on board any relevant information parents share, answer your questions and most importantly, establish a relationship with your child.
*****
We start our Pre-prep Transition Program in Term 3 as soon as enrolment interviews are completed. Children are welcome to attend our Story Time Sessions to become familiar with the school environment and make new friends. They are a valuable opportunity for parents to meet other Prep families.
Workshops in Term 4 on selected Fridays and Saturdays in October and November will provide parents with information about supporting their child's learning in a school environment. Families are encouraged to participate in these events to build relationships with our staff, get to know our school better and be confident about starting Prep. Together, we can make the transition to school a wonderful experience for every child.
The Prep Orientation Morning will start in the School Hall at 9:15am on Wednesday 26th November. Children will meet the class teacher and teacher aide in their classroom and participate in a range of activities. Parents will receive information about Prep routines and requirements. The Uniform Shop will be open for purchases and collection of online orders.
Prep 2026 starts on Tuesday 27 January. Please plan any family holidays within the school holiday period. Every day counts in Prep!
