Enrolment Process
At Indooroopilly State School we welcome new families living in our catchment area to join our school community. Families relocating to our catchment area are encouraged to contact us in advance so we may anticipate their student's enrolment application.
Please refer to our Enrolment Management Plan and catchment area map to confirm enrolment eligibility. Families are welcome to download our Enrolment Pack if their students are eligible to enrol. The Enrolment Pack contains the necessary forms to be completed and a checklist of required documents. Applications should be emailed to admin@indooroopillyss.eq.edu.au. Administration staff will process the application and contact families to discuss their application.
When an application has been accepted, families may refer to information about our Uniform Policy, Uniform Shop and Booklists to prepare for their student starting school. For students starting in Years 5 and 6 please also refer to information about the Bring Your Own Device Program.
We conduct enrolment interviews for every eligible student that applies to enrol at our school. An appointment is arranged with one of our Deputy Principals after complete applications are processed. The enrolment interview is an opportunity to share information about how our school operates, establish a relationship with new students and their family, and answer questions.
Families requiring assistance with supervision of their students before or after school should contact the onsite service provider, Indooroopilly Outside School Hours Care, prior to submitting an enrolment application.
We look forward to welcoming new students and their families into our dynamic, vibrant, caring school community.
