Indooroopilly State School's Digital learning vision is that students are empowered to be conscious, connected creators and consumers who demonstrate the digital literacy skills needed to thrive in a dynamic digital environment. Through purposeful, balanced and evidence-informed use of digital tools, students are supported to think critically, collaborate effectively, create confidently and engage responsibly as digital citizens.
To live our vision we facilitate a BYOD proram in Year 5 & year 6. Earlier years access school provided devices.

Digital Intelligence/Digital Citizenship
Working in partnership with the 1:1 program is Digital Intelligence (DQ). DQ is defined as “a comprehensive set of technical, cognitive, meta-cognitive, and socio-emotional competencies that are grounded in universal moral values and that enable individuals to face the challenges and harness the opportunities of digital life.”

JB Hi-Fi Portal
Indooroopilly State School has set up a procurement portal with JB Hi-Fi Solutions for Education. ISS encourages families to purchase from these portals because:
• Device is verified to work on the school network
• Educational Pricing is more affordable
• Optional insurances and Warranties are offered
• Support is available from JB Hi-Fi
• Reduces technical support load required from teachers
Parents who choose to purchase devices and or accessories via the JB Hi-Fi BYOD Purchase Portal, should feel assured the devices have been selected to support your child's learning potential.
1. Go to https://byod.jbhifi.education/
2. Enter the BYOD code as supplied by your school. Indooroopilly State School Code: INDOOROOPILLYSS27
3. Once logged in, select a student program. There are 2 different programs with different price points and brands. All devices meet the minimum specifications.
