Remind your children to be sun smart

Did you know… Queensland has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world because our UV Index is rarely below 3 and causes damage all year round. Reminding your children to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide from an early age can reduce their risk of developing skin cancer. It’s never too late to start. Remind them before and after school, and on weekends. Have a routine of applying SPF 30+ sunscreen every day and help all your family stay sun safe. You can check the daily sun protection times online, or on the free SunSmart app.
