How do I Enrol my Child?

At Indooroopilly State School we love to welcome new families into our school community.

As we value the contact and sharing of information that happens face to face, we conduct personal enrolment interviews for each and every new family/student who wishes to enrol at our school.  An enrolment appointment with a member of our administration team is required for all students.  After handing in completed paperwork (only available at the school office) this appointment will be arranged.

Enrolment Management Plan

Indooroopilly State School has a strong reputation in the community for its high quality teaching programs, excellent music and physical education programs and outstanding results. Enrolment at our school is highly sought after, so to manage the number of students enrolled at our school an enrolment management plan is in place. Students residing within the schools’ catchment area are welcome to enrol at our school at anytime. Students residing outside the catchment area are welcome to apply for enrolment and, if a vacancy exists, may enrol at our school. If there are no vacancies at the time of enrolment, the student will be placed on a waiting list.

International Enrolment

Many families and students from overseas enrol at our school. We pride ourselves on the multi-cultural nature of Indooroopilly. If you have an international passport, please contact Education Queensland International to apply to enrol in a Queensland State School. Once your application has been processed, potential enrolment at Indooroopilly State School can be considered.
